The purpose of this web site is to inform as many stamp collectors as
possible about an interesting but generally unknown philatelic
area.
This site will present information about all phases of the stamp
production process that precedes the emission of the stamp.
And, the site is limited to the production of stamps for France and its
Former Colonies.
Further, the research is limited to the production of stamps that were
printed by the Engraving process
(Intaglio process, taille-douce).
